OUR TEAM HAS GROWN

In September, God brought us two ladies who have chosen to give this year of their life to serve God here in Spain. Philippa, the lady on the left, is from England. Yes, we are learning yet another language this year, British English...tee, hee. Philippa was a student here 8 years ago and attended El Puente during this time. Over the years she has maintained contact with Betsy, our teammate. She felt God asking her to take a step of faith this year and come help out in the church. She quit her job, sold her car, and came to Spain. It has been awesome to see God provide for her financial needs through English teaching jobs...and it has been special to see the relationships she has built in these months with the Spaniards.

Kami is from Virginia. She graduated from the University last year and has always had an interest in missions. She decided to become an apprentice with World Team and we are the ones being blessed by having her work along side of us in Caceres. She has a huge heart to serve and do whatever is asked of her. She has jumped right in to help us out with the youth in the church, with outreaches, and with administrative stuff for World Team Spain.

It will be exciting to see what God has in store for us and for these ladies during this year. Pray that God will allow them to build meaningful relationships with Spaniards and that He will lead them in knowing where they should be in the future. We are trying to brainwash them in staying here...oh wouldn't that be awesome!
